Daily Wod's

Fitness with Friends is always more fun! Come join us for that group experience that you needed and didn’t even know it. This class incorporates all things revolved around functional fitness, ie. Deadlifts, pull up’s, squatting, jumping, olympic lifting, etc. 

Sweat Fest

This 45 min class will surely leave you sweating! No Olympic lifts or heavy lifting, just a lot of machines and bodyweight movements. This class is also a great way for those new to this type of training, to become introduced to how our regular daily wod classes are run.

Strength program

Want to shed some weight and gain muscle!? This is the program for you! These strength classes still run in our 1 hour window of class times but instead of doing the Daily Wod, you will follow the strength program. There is no cardio in this class, strictly gym rat style!

About Coach K

Coach K grew up in Lubbock, Tx where she found the love for fitness/tennis at a young age. She got a full ride to KU on a tennis scholarship, which brought her to the great state of Kansas! Kristen has always aspired to be a coach and started with teaching tennis lessons at Prairie Dunes Country Club and then learned about the sport of CrossFit, which was right up her alley! After visiting multiple CrossFit gyms around the U.S. and getting her Level 1 CrossFit certification, she decided to open up her own gym here in Hutchinson, KS in 2013.

Coach K wanted more than just CrossFit for her members and eventually evolved her gym into Hutch Fitness, a gym with cardio, strength training, and CrossFit movements! She has always led with the coaching philosophy that everyone is an athlete and can achieve their own max potential through consistency. She has modified workouts to accommodate injuries, pregnancies, and other hurdles to maximize the time her members spend in the gym.

When she’s not in the gym, she is enjoying family
time with her wife, their 3 boys, and 3 fur-babies!
